Also comments on changes resulting from the climate crisis which has gone from glacial speed to breakneck speed
I love buying seeds online as well. I guess I prefer being at home versus in a store, so I can pour over the seed options with as much time as I want, sketching out and dreaming about what I want. Plus, then I can seperate out my immediate buy options, and future wish lists.
I have certain vendors I trust like Baker's, Renee's, Botanical Interests... I live in exurbia so you can't always find these options in the local nurseries. But I'm also beginning the practice of saving seeds from my own plants, and that's its own kind of reward and fun. Just inventoried my stockpile and I don't think I'll ever have to buy certain seeds ever again (i.e. snow peas, arugula, parsley, runner beans, dill)

Just be careful - some seeds have very short viability.
